Britest welcomes new starters!

Murray Brown, Bonny Victor and James McGregor to strengthen expanded Britest team

We are thrilled to welcome three new faces to the Britest delivery team, supporting growth in our business working internationally with manufacturing organisations from the biotechnology, chemicals, materials and pharmaceuticals sectors.

Dr Murray Brown will be joining Britest in September 2024 as our Principal Consultant. Dr Brown has 30 years of experience in the application of biotechnology for pharmaceutical development and manufacturing. He is a genuine expert in biocatalysis and enzyme engineering, able to leverage multidisciplinary science from molecular biology to bioprocess development to create business value. Britest’s Members, Partners and Clients will soon be able to benefit from his considerable knowledge of sustainable biotechnology.

Dr Bonny Victor will join us in October 2024 as a Technical Manager. Dr Victor has a fascinating educational background in applied chemistry and biomolecular archaeology, followed by vast experience of analysis, R&D and process improvement in the mining, raw materials and base chemicals sectors. Bonny’s skills and experience are very complementary to the Britest team and will enable us to expand our sustainable process expertise into key foundation industries sectors.

Dr James MacGregor who also joins us in September 2024 as a Technical Manager, has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical sectors, working for SMEs and large multi-national companies. An organic chemist by training, his practical knowledge of manufacturing is vast and includes process development and troubleshooting, process engineering; safety, and health and environmental management. James will strengthen and further develop Britest’s expert technical facilitation, consultancy and training services for the benefit of our Members, Partners and Clients.
