Britest Limited looks forward to joining other key regional stakeholders at the Business of Science Conference 2017 pre-conference dinner on Wednesday 17th May,
The event is the setting for the presentation of a new national Leadership Award which seeks to recognise a senior figure from the private, public or charitable sector who has made an outstanding contribution to business leadership in an area of science and innovation, and acts as a precursor to the following day's Business of Science Conference.
Britest Technical Director Mark Talford will join a distinguished invited audience of influential players from the North-West of England and beyond, gathered to celebrate examples of outstanding business leadership in science and innovation, culminating in the presentation of the inaugural Business of Science Award. The evening will also feature a short talk by Adrian Hayday, distinguished immunobiologist, currently working at the at the Francis Crick Institute, and previously the first biologist to win Yale College's most prestigious prize for scholarship, the William Clyde DeVane Medal.
According to Mark Talford, “Innovation is at the core of what Britest does, but so is being connected within in a strong innovation eco-system. It promises to be an interesting evening.”
