Amy Peace and Rob Peeling have both been recognised in new professional advisory capacities
Amy Peace, currently coordinating the Horizon 2020 Co-ordination and Support Action SPRING, has just been appointed to the Strategic Advisory Team for EPSRC's ‘Manufacturing the Future’ theme. Under this theme EPSRC seeks to sponsor work addressing serious challenges in key areas of high-value and specialist manufacturing including manufacturing technologies, process systems components and integration, materials engineering and engineering design..
Meanwhile the global professional membership organisation for chemical, biochemical and process engineers, the IChemE, has announced that Rob Peeling has been successfully elected by its members to serve as a representative on the IChemE’s inaugural Congress. Congress will act as a sounding board and advise the Board of Trustees on matters of interest to IChemE and its members. As a representative Fellow elected within Congress’s Functional College, Rob will speak up on the behalf of members, champion members expertise, and promote members societal contribution through chemical engineering..
