The Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) exists to bridge the gap between education and industry. Specialists in the industrial biotechnology (IB) sector, with deep embedded knowledge, IBioIC has the technical expertise to help stimulate the growth and success of the IB industry in Scotland by connecting the dots between industry, academia and government. IBioIC represent all four colours of IB, facilitating collaborations and guiding organisations from a concept or idea, through to industry adoption. IBioIC's vision is to create a truly distinctive, world-leading innovation centre for industrial biotechnology, accelerating and de-risking the development of commercially viable, sustainable solutions for high-value manufacturing in chemistry-using and life science sectors.
